The Ludington Auxiliary Meetings are held every second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Ludington Coast Guard Station.
ABOUT BOATING SAFELY - COURSE INFOFrom time to time, the Ludington Flotilla of the Coast Guard Auxiliary sponsors a boating safety class, formerly called "About Boating Safely". This course is for the beginner as well as the intermediate boater. Upon successful completion, a boater safety certificate is awarded, as well as a wallet-sized card certifying completion of the course.
Safety Class -
The United Stated Coast Guard Auxiliary will hold a Boating Safely Class on Saturday, June 1 from 9 AM to 2 PM and continuing on Monday, June 3 and Tuesday, June 4 from 6 Ė 8 PM both nights. The class will be held at the Ludington Public Library. This class is designed for young people ages 13 and older, those new to boating or anyone who wants to refresh their knowledge of current boating requirements, laws, equipment and practices for a safe and enjoyable season of boating fun. Attendance at all the sessions is required. The cost of the class is $5 per person. The text may be purchased for $20. Please use the parking area and entrance at the west side of the building and use the west entrance.
